Asatru rebuilt “I Am Not Yours” almost from scratch. The only part left from the original track was the vocal, which got chopped, processed and placed into a completely new sound.
Instead of following the original pop structure, the remix moves into drum & bass and jungle territory with occasional straight driving kicks and the vibe of a late night highway somewhere between Miami neon lights and a desert sunset.
The track is about speed, freedom of movement and that moment when the city disappears behind you, leaving only the road, headlights and heavy low-end hitting through the speakers.
The release also comes with an official music video. No complicated storyline or forced symbolism. Just movement, energy and visuals matching the track.
The Remix also received support from Amazing Dance, the electronic music stream of Amazing Radio (UK), expanding the release's reach within the international dance music audience.
